Karamanlidiko bagel (koulouri)

Bake in preheated oven at 170o C for about 45 minutes.

YOU WILL NEED

Gold

MATERIALS

1kg minced meat coarsely chopped (beef 80% – mutton 20%)

25g Seasoning for Karamanlidiko Sausage (Art. 37004)

250g Caramelized Onion (Art. 55129)

20g Gold Marinade (Art. 50623CL)

50g Sesame Breadcrumb (Art. 40072)

3 tbsp. fresh chopped coriander

100g grated kasseri cheese

2 tbsp. sunflower oil

400g kourou dough

1 tbsp. black sesame seeds

IMPLEMENTATION
  1. Mix in the minced meat with the Seasoning, the Caramelized Onion, the fresh coriander and the grated kasseri. Knead well.
  2. Cut the kourou dough lengthwise in halves.
  3. With a spoon, fill each piece of dough lengthwise with the minced meat filling. Close in a roll of 3-4cm diameter.
  4. Form round bagels. Dilute the Marinata Gold with sunflower oil, baste the bagels and sprinkle with black sesame seeds and Sesame Breadcrumb.
