Mexican Gyros Al Pastor

Γύρος Μεξικάνικος Al Pastor

Bake in the oven at 170° C for about 50 minutes. Serve finely chopped into strips.

YOU WILL NEED

Tex Mex

Orange Twist

MATERIALS

2kg pork into very thin slices (pancetta, shoulder, neck)

100g Marinade Τex Μex (Art. 50640)

100g Dressing Orange Twist (Art. 55307)

2g ground coriander 

2-3 limes

1 pineapple

IMPLEMENTATION

  1. Marinate the pork in a bowl with the Tex Mex Marinade, the juice, the Orange Twist, the zest of the lime and the ground coriander. Leave in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
  2. Set the gyros on large metal skewers. If necessary, use 2-3 in parallel so that the meat can stand. Optionally, pass between the pieces of pork slices of pineapple.
  3. Garnish with lime and pineapple.
