Lamb “Exohiko”

Simmer covered in oven for about 1 hour and 20 minutes at 180° C. Uncover and continue for 10 more minutes, until well-browned. During cooking check if additional water is needed. 

YOU WILL NEED

Rub Chimichurri

MATERIALS

1kg lamb leg (in pieces)

30g Grecia Marinade (Art. 50606)

200g Mustard (Art. 55747)

30g Meat Rub Chimichurri (Art. 51011)

300g bell peppers (green, yellow, red) 

100g cherry tomatoes

IMPLEMENTATION
  1. In a basin, marinate the pieces of lamb with Grecia Marinade and then season with Meat Rub Chimichurri.
  2. In another basin, mix the sauce with the peppers and the chopped tomatoes.
  3. Pour the sauce with the vegetables on a fireproof tray, add the lamb on top, and garnish with fresh oregano or rosemary.

 

Tip: You can prepare the recipe in a baking bag, wrapped as a “candy”.  

For extra flavour, add kefalotyri cheese in cubes.
